Taste: Deep red with a violet hue. Aromas of bright bing cherries and dark chocolate occupy the nose. Super approachable on the palate, bright fruit, and silky texture are supported by well-integrated oak. Predominantly Merlot, this wine shows a balanced tannic structure and a silky mouthfeel, start to finish.
Cameron Confidential: In the summer of 2008, we bought a few lots of wine from a wine group that had a portfolio of killer wines. They presented us with 10 different wines, and we ended up buying everything they put in front of us, ranging from Carneros Pinot Noir and Chardonnay all the way to Atlas Peak Cab and what became this Sonoma Meritage. Boasting Alexander Valley, Dry Creek, and Knights Valley, this wine is just a solid night-to-night drinker with awesome fruit and approachability.
