Taste: Deep, inky-purple hue. Huge aromas jump from the glass right away. The nose exhibits blueberry compote, cassis, and nuances of sweet blackberries and currants. On the palate, bold fruit braces a huge structure as its full body prevails. The nice mid-palate coupled with the refined integrated tannins presents a beautifully rounded wine that displays exceptional elegance, especially for the Petite Sirah varietal. Decant before drinking or cellar up to 15 years.
Cameron Confidential: Within the same series of more prestigious wines that we have been producing, this wine comes from who's known as one of the most distinguished Petite Sirah producers in Napa Valley. This wine came to us from a small production, giving us only 350 cases. With Parker not scoring this wine under 90 points in many years, this normally $60 bottle is hands-down the best Petite Sirah that we have ever gotten our hands on. Not only does it come from one of the most renowned producers in Napa, but it is part of the fabulous 2007 vintage. Get this wine now folks...I wouldn't expect it to be around for very long.
