Taste: Black center with dark reddish rim. Beautiful nose of violets and crushed stone fruits, most notably black cherries. Full-bodied as most of these fabulous '07 vintages have been, this wine shows outstanding overall structure and balance with fine tannins, subtle and well-integrated. Gobs of black cherry and old-world complexities flesh out the mid-palate of this wine as it finishes smooth with notes of that classic Rutherford "dust."
Cameron Confidential: Coming from an $85 program, this wine was made by a very famous winemaker out of Rutherford. It comes from the winemaker's own high-end custom crush facility in Napa, from which the wine originated under his own label. This is another wine from our super high-end program with some of the best wine value you've ever seen. I only have about 650 cases of this wine, so at this price, it will be gone before you know it.
