Taste: Deep crimson center with a matching rim. A focused nose of blackberries and cassis. The pronounced mid-palate follows ripe, tender fruit and notable acidity. Tannins are firm, yet balanced, displaying a full-body and dense structure. This wine's distinctive depth and viscosity provide a long, complex finish and fleshy mouthfeel. Enjoy now or let it age gracefully for another 10 to 15 years.

Cameron Confidential: This is another one of Sam's stellar Cabernet finds. When we bought this wine, the winery's confidentiality agreement had us signing our lives away. In other words, they don't want anyone to know what kind of deal we got on this wine. It comes from beautiful volcanic soil, driving the vines deep into Diamond Mountain's beautiful earth. Being a 2006, this wine flowers right now thanks to the extra year of maturity. While many of our other high-end Cabs that we are putting out right now are young and tight, this wine is displaying gorgeous complexities and structure even at only 4 months in the bottle. This Cabernet is part of our series of recent releases of relative value in which wines have come from $90+ programs.
