Taste: A crisp and true expression of Marlborough fruit that is ripe, elegant, and soaring in the nose. Ripe grapefruit, mineral acidity, and beautiful floral notes spring from the glass. Flashed through neutral oak for about 4 months, the palate has excellent weight and dimension, showing tropical fruit, citrus notes, and hints of capsicum. Long finish of guava and grapefruit.
Cameron Confidential: This wine retails for $20 – $22 under the winery's label, and I think it is certainly one of the Top 10 (maybe 5) Kiwi SB's I have ever had. Only 4,000 cases were produced, and we got half of it. Let's hope that we will be able to do this on an on-going basis with the winery.
