Taste: Floral aromas from the Grenache Blanc and honeysuckle and jasmine from the Viognier burst out of the glass. On the palate you are greeted with melon, orange fruit, and a succulent sweetness that drenches the acid note in the wine. Make no mistake, this is a dry wine but with a honeyed beam of acidity—yin and yang in a glass. Perfect for a warm spring or hot summer day, it has a clean, refreshing finish that is ideal for sipping by the pool.

Cameron Confidential: This wine comes to us from one of my favorite producers down on the Central Coast. In fact, I used to regularly visit their tasting room and actually attended their classes quite often when I was a cellar rat down at Corbett Canyon many moons ago. Anyhow, both this wine and the Lot 118 Viognier are made from estate fruit grown in the highlands around Santa Barbara at elevations from 2,800 to 3,600 feet. A slightly different blend of this wine sells for $30 a bottle.
