Taste: Beautiful nose of cassis, red earth, and classic Rutherford "dust." On the palate this is a juicy mouthful of Cabernet, exhibiting dark-cherry, cedary oak notes as well as velvety tannins in a persistent, well-balanced finish. This wine shows great polish in a classic Rutherford package.
Cameron Confidential: What a deal this wine is! Sourced from a famous high-end grower and made at one of Napa's most famous estates, we managed to get our hands on this wine after months of bidding, retracting, and negotiating. This one seemed like the deal that would never end as folks suddenly decided that maybe they did need more wine, after all. Well, we ended up with it after some weird twists and turns, and you'll be glad we did.
