Cork'd, Lot 86
Cameron Hughes Lot 86 Lodi Zin
96/100
Very dark body. Light pretty much doesn't pass through this when held up to a bright light. Lots of purple color. Aromas of dried currants. Blast of flavors. Blackberries, plums and raisins. Full bodied.Slight alcohol burn in the throat after consuming. While this is probably classified as a dry wine, there is a very slight underlying sweetness that I really enjoy. Flat out this is the first wine I've bought two cases of for my cellar! Sure wish I'd been able to afford a third at the time.
