Another Cameron Hughes
My ever-growing list of wines under $10 just acquired Cameron Hughes Lot 150 meritage. From California, this a fantastic all-purpose red that is easy-drinking and still stands up to a hearty red sauce or even steak. I found it at Sam's Club for a mere $6.22, how can you beat that?
One of my favorite Zins is also from Cameron-Hughes, the 15% I mentioned in my first post. Thanks to the good 'ole recession, the price-tag on that has decreased from around $9 to under $7! I think it's quite admirable of someone up there to make sure we wine lovers don't have to suffer too much during these trying times...that would be a serious travesty.
