BIG merlot…. Medium purple to dark red in the glass. Full bodied with lots of fruit and complexity. Still evolving in the bottle. Great mouthfeel and completely balanced despite a 15% abv. Cameron Hughes is not a vineyard nor a winery. It purchases barrel aged wines from premium suppliers and then bottles and/or blends and bottles. I would keep an eye to this producer if Lot 69 is any indication of value versus price. Highly recommended.
