Popped and poured this recent purchase tonight. Medium garnet color. Nose somewhat reticent, a little blackberry, some earthiness. On the palate it bursts with red and black fruits, hints of chocolate and held together with refreshing acidity and light but noticeable tannic structure. A chewy, yet elegant merlot. Kudos to Cameron on this Oak Knoll score. I expect it to only get better with some age on it. Can't wait to try the cabs from this deal. (90 pts.)
