Decanted and open for 2 hrs prior to tasting. Nice dark maroon color. Clove, currant, and pronounced "grape soda" nose. Flavors are a little subdued because of its youth: this baby is still wound pretty tight. Vanilla, maple, and cherry come through on the palate. Good acid and tannins. A little flabby in the middle and not integrated but should pull together nicely in 2-3 years and drink really well from 2011 to 2015.
