Why We Are Different

Wine does not cost a lot to make, it costs a lot to market and sell...

By maintaining virtually no overhead and by selling direct to Costco, we are able to offer you $30-$50 values for anywhere from $7.99 to $13.99.

So what's the big deal?  Similar to Charles Shaw ("Two Buck Chuck") we sell direct to a major retailer and cut out the middlemen.  However, instead of working the lower end of the bulk market, we work only the high-end by purchasing small lots of wine from some of the best wineries on the planet.  Each Lot is bottled as such, Lot 14 Napa Valley Merlot, Lot 15 Napa Cabernet, Lot 16 Stag's Leap Cabernet, etc.

Now here's the neat thing:  wine does not cost a lot to make.  For instance, take a $25 Napa Cabernet, less than 17% of the retail price is actual cost of the wine itself!  The rest is mostly wholesale and retail margins.

By buying small lots of wine in bulk from high-end producers and shipping direct to Costco (who works on less than 14% margin) we cut, on average, about 66% off the retail price and give you, our customers, the best deals in the wine business.
